My favorite locally sourced raw 100% cotton square braid wick for making beeswax candles. Below is a rough guide for choosing sizes. We always recommend experimenting to find the size wick that works best for your candles.

Sizes:
5/0 -- small thin candles, such as birthday candles
3/0 -- taper candles 1" or less in diameter
1/0 -- taper candles up to 2" wide
#2 -- candles with a medium diameter i.e. votives, tea lights and candles poured into small jars
#4-- candles with a larger diameter i.e. pillar candles or candles poured into wider jars
